Rob Roberge is the author of three novels, including More Than They Could Chew (2005), and a short story collection, Working Backwards from the Worst Moment of My Life (2010). He's a professor at UCR/Palm Desert's MFA, and his latest novel is The Cost of Living.
 
Here, we speak with him about addiction, "one-downmanship," John Cage, and resolving to irresolution in fiction.
