Kathi Inman Berens is an independent scholar teaching part time at two universities 1000 miles apart. She curates electronic literature, and just finished co-curating the first exhibit of electronic literature at the Library of Congress. She also co-curated shows for the Modern Language Association. At U.S.C’s Annenberg School of Communication, she invented a synchronous, hybrid class that meets predominantly in a virtual classroom; she commutes monthly to Los Angeles from Portland, Oregon. A Fellow at Annenberg’s Innovation Lab, she is an IBM Faculty Award Winner. She’s also a devoted mom and wife.
