Rose McLarney's book, The Always Broken Plates of Mountains, is published by Four Way Books. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in publications including The Kenyon Review, Orion, Slate, The New England Review, Painted Bride Quarterly, The Greensboro Review, and Provincetown Arts Magazine.
McLarney earned her MFA from Warren Wilson's MFA Program for Writers and has taught writing at the college. She is currently Assistant Poetry Professor at Oklahoma State University.
This year, she received The Fellowship of Southern Writers' George Garrett New Writing Award for Poetry, her poems won Alligator Juniper’s 2011 National Poetry Prize, and in 2010 she was awarded the Joan Beebe Fellowship.
