Bruce Wagner dropped out of Beverly Hills High and worked in bookstores, and as an ambulance and limo driver. His books include Force Majeure (1991), Wild Palms (a graphic novel, 1993) I'm Losing You (1996), I'll Let You Go (2002), Still Holding (2003), Chrsyanthemum Palace (2005), Memorial (2006) and Dark Stars (2012). He also has worked since the 1980s in film and televison as both a writer and director.
