Charles Sasser is a freelance writer, journalist and photographer who has worked on more than 50 books, including Predator: The Remote-Control Air War Over Iraq and Afghanistan. He served in the U.S. navy as a combat correspondent and in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He has also worked as a homicide detective, climbed Mount Rainier, run with the bulls in Spain, and ridden camels in the Egyptian desert.
