Rebecca Solnit is a San Francisco-based nonfiction writer and activist. Her books include Secret Exhibition: Six California Artists of the Cold War Era, Wanderlust: A History of Walking, A Field Guide to Getting Lost, and Infinite City: A San Francisco Atlas.
