David Treuer

David Treuer is a Leech Lake Ojibwe tribal member and a Professor of English at USC. He is the author of Little, The Hiawatha, and The Translation of Dr. Apelles as well as the controversial collection, Native American Fiction: A User’s Manual. He’s written for The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Esquire, TriQuarterly, and Slate.
