Lea Aschkenas
Lea Aschkenas is the author of Es Cuba: Life and Love on an Illegal Island and is currently conducting research for a historical novel based on the life of the Cuban revolutionary Haydée Santamaria. She also works as a librarian in several public libraries in Northern California, and she teaches poetry writing to first through 12th graders with the California Poets in the Schools program.
